The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Programmes Officer to provide maternity leave cover in our Taught Programmes Team.

About the role 

You will play a vital role in supporting the coordination of the Faculty’s suite of Masters in Research (MRes) programmes across our six Departments. You will work with other administrators, Directors of Studies, the MRes Programme Director, the Doctoral College and the South West Doctoral Training Partnership institutions to ensure the smooth and efficient administration of the MRes programmes. This will include developing common systems and processes standardised on best practice, ensuring that University regulations and procedures are adhered to, as well as seeking enhancements and efficiencies.

Working closely with the Programmes Managers, you will also lead and deliver on faculty-wide projects, taking responsibility for managing specific projects and functional areas. 

This is a part-time (18.25 hours) fixed-term post from August 2022 until August 2023, or the early return of the postholder.
