SETsquared is a partnership of six leading universities (Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey) and has a range of research commercialisation and business support programmes to help start-ups and scale-ups flourish and grow. 

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Senior Investment Programme co-ordinator to help our members along their raising investment journey to enable their growth. 

This position is advertised full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis, with an expected end date of 30/06/2023.

In this exciting and key role you will:

  • develop strategies to engage and maintain an active investor network.
  • work across the wider SETsquared teams as well as with colleagues across the 6 partner Universities.
  • be the main point of liaison for key investment programme initiatives of the Regional Angel Investment Accelerator (RAIA) partnership and Executives into Business (EiB) Programme
  • contribute to the investment fund project which aims to raise a £100m venture capital fund for SETsquared companies.

SETsquared is an enterprise partnership of six leading research-intensive UK universities. Its Scale-Up Programme helps companies collaborate on R&D with our partner universities and secure the finance from public grants and private investors. The Scale-Up Programme has a funding extension to June 2023 of £3.3m and this fixed-term post for the period is key in order that the Scale Up programme meets increased KPI targets and additional outcomes.
