The Widening Participation Office is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible graduate  intern to work as part of the outreach team. The WPO organises campus visits, taster days and summer schools to support students from under-represented groups into university. Experience of working with young people on similar events and a commitment to widening participation are essential.

This post is based in the Widening Participation Office (WPO) at the University of Bath and is open to recent graduates and to current students looking for a paid placement opportunity.

The post requires enthusiasm, energy and flexibility as well as a commitment to widening participation. Working as part of the WPO team the postholder will organise and deliver campus visits and support WPO staff in the delivery of more complex activities such as summer schools. This post would be suitable for those with experience of being a student ambassador or a student engaged in other forms of community or outreach activity.

This post is full time (36.5 hours per week) and is being offered on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis - commencing on 2 October 2017.
