We are looking for two Registry Services Officers to join our Academic Registry team.

The University of Bath is one of the UK’s leading universities. The Academic Registry is a key, central professional service. Our operational services and academic policy work contribute significantly to University life and to the development of learning and teaching. Learn more about the Academic Registry.

Registry Services Officers provide essential administrative and project support within our busy department. As a Registry Services Officer you will use your proven administrative experience across many of our services, including student and programme records, quality management, timetabling, and examinations. You will also provide support for University committee activity, and for the department’s senior management team.

Our ideal candidates will be experienced and adaptable administrators. You will be enthusiastic about improving our services by turning plans into action. You will recognise the priorities in your own independent work, and help junior members of the team to do the same. You should be comfortable with learning, using, and developing our range of systems and processes, as well as with sharing this knowledge with colleagues across the University.

Our Registry Services Officers are exciting opportunities because of the breadth and variety of the roles. Your professional development will be supported by our Heads of Registry Services and the rest of our experienced departmental team. You will use your existing strengths every day, and will develop new skills and expertise by being a key part of the work we do across the department.

The role will suit those wishing to advance their careers in higher education administration, or for those with strong transferrable experience from other sectors. If you’re looking for a new challenge with a supportive and hard-working team, we want to hear from you.

Interviews will take place in week commencing 19 March 2018.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact James Arthur, Head of Registry Services [; 01225 38 3687].
