The University of Bath is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced professional to support the Director of Student Services in a series of transformational activities designed to facilitate the continual improvement and evolution of the Department.

The post holder will work closely with the Student Services Management team to develop an in depth understanding of the business of the Department. The role will incorporate aspects of research and analysis, information and communication management, independent project management and project co-ordination. It will require liaison with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Students’ Union; colleagues from academic and professional departments; and external agencies; as part of a progressive Student Services team in delivering of an integrated range of high quality, evidence-based services which enhance student resilience and wellbeing.

You will have experience of successfully managing complex projects, with tight deadlines and involving multiple stakeholders; using qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate activities; and developing and implementing communication plans.  You will also have excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to influence colleagues at all levels; written and verbal communication skills; and a detailed understanding of student life and the HE context more broadly;

Student Services comprises Counsellling and Wellbeing, Disability, and Funding Advice services. The post holder will work closely with other Professional Services, Academic Departments, the Students’ Union and community based agencies.
