We are looking for a talented University of Bath student to join our growing team and help to provide insight to colleagues across the University and Students’ Union based upon the data collected by the student engagement team so that the University can continue to deliver the best possible learning experience to all students.

This is a Placement opportunity and is open to students currently on an undergraduate programme of study, who have completed or are about to complete two years of study at the University of Bath.

This is the second year we have offered this placement opportunity and the placement student will be afforded a great deal of autonomy to channel their enthusiasm to bring their own experiences, skills and vision to their work.

This position offers a highly motivated Bath student an excellent opportunity to boost their future career in business analytics, data management, and communications in a way that will play to the successful candidate’s strengths.

The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Student Engagement Team, engaging and completing a range of tasks to meet operational and strategic requirements.  The post-holder will support the delivery of internal and external student surveys including data visualisation and will support the development of a new Student Communications Plan for the University.

This is an integrated development opportunity and will include the opportunity to work directly with a range of stakeholders from students, to senior managers.  The role will help you build up your key transferable skills as well as developing you both personally and professionally.  Throughout the year, you will be able to build a portfolio, allowing you to reflect on your development throughout your employment with us, and also support your next career step.

If you are looking for a fast-paced, exciting role at the heart of the University's Education Strategy and can offer the drive, initiative and ideas needed to flourish then this role could be right for you.

This is afull-time (36.5 hours per week) and is being offer on a fixed term ten months contract basis, with an anticipated start date of Monday 6 August 2018.

For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Shaun Stephenson-McGall, Student Engagement Manager, on (01225) 38 3848 or via email
