The Faculty of Engineering & Design is seeking to appoint a highly dedicated and organised individual for the role of Programmes Administrative Assistant to join a busy team at the University of Bath.

You will play a vital role in providing administrative support for a number of our taught programmes, ensuring their smooth and efficient operation.

Educated to a minimum of A level or an equivalent qualification, you will have previous experience of working in a busy office environment. Attention to detail is very important, as is the ability to manage a busy workload with conflicting priorities. You will need to work closely with other team members, academic colleagues and students from across the world, so excellent communication and customer relation skills are highly important.

You will be an excellent team player, work on your own initiative and remain flexibility to changing priorities. You should have a proficiency in Word and Excel and while experience in HE systems would be advantageous, full training will be provided.

Adaptability is key - the ability to learn new skills is essential for success in this role. You will have excellent organisational skills and the capability to multi-task and prioritise a high workload with ease. You will enjoy the opportunity to work autonomously as well as part of team in a fast-paced, student-facing environment.
