An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Skills Centre at the University of Bath for a Course Leader to provide leadership, management and development to the English Language programme.  

The English Language programme provides English Language support for international students and works with colleagues from across the University to support the recruitment and success of international students. Our Pre-sessional programme prepares students for entry to their degree programme by developing English language and academic language and skills. The in-sessional programme offers students an opportunity to continue to develop their language while at the University.

We are looking for someone who can comfortably lead teaching teams to ensure the appropriate implementation and delivery of the English language syllabus to the highest standards. As part of the English Language team, you will, through the continual review and improvement of our services, help us meet the needs of all international students.

You must be available to start between 2 August, and no later than 12 August 2021

About you

You will have a proven record of delivering high-quality English language activity/activities in an educational setting, as well as assessment development, management, communication, planning and leadership skills to help you develop teaching teams and the activities they support.
