We have an incredible opportunity for a Head of Hub Development and Community to join the Department of Chemical Engineering!

About the role:

This position is an integral part of the EPSRC Sustainable Manufacturing ‘Cellular Agriculture Manufacturing ‘CARMA’ Hub. This is a wide-ranging role covering stakeholder engagement and overseeing our personal and professional development programme. 

The post will be based in Bath, but will work closely with academic partners in Aberystwyth, Birmingham, Royal Agricultural University and UCL, and the 10+ partner companies. 

This role is primarily connected with the Faculty of Engineering and Design and the School of Management, though working across campus and with the partner institutions is central to the day-to-day activities. For a full outline of the role please see the attached Job Description below.

This position is offered on a part time basis of 18.3 hours per week, fixed-term until September 2030.

About you:

We are looking for an individual with outstanding interpersonal skills, demonstrated through extensive experience of working in project management in academia and industry, and the interface between the two. 

Our ideal candidate will also have experience in designing and running development and/or coaching programmes.
