Casual Commis Chef

The Hospitality department are looking for Casual Commis Chefs to join the team for the summer

Duties would include:

• To prepare and cook dishes for service in the food outlets in liaison with the senior Chefs
• Helping to prepare and cook dishes for functions and events in liaison with senior Chefs
• To assist with good stock management by helping store deliveries in a timely manner following FIFO
• Adhere to Food Safety, Health & Safety and Allergen legislation – training provided
• Completing Due-diligence and following the standards set in the FSMS
• Helping to keep the BOH areas clean and hygienic
• All other associated task as requested as directed by the senior Chefs.

We require the following:

• Shifts could be early mornings and late nights weekends & weekdays
• Available for a minimum of two shifts per week from May through to mid August
• The ideal candidate should have experience of working in a food preparation role
• The ability to work in a safe environment and protecting others around you.
• You should have a proactive attitude and be prepared to work under pressure in a fast paced, demanding environment.

In return we will offer good pay rates of £9.93 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay this equates to £11.13 per hour

The positions are on a casual basis and hours will therefore be flexible as and when required by the business.
