The University of Bath’s Hospitality department isn't just about student catering. As well as catering to students, we host large conferences and banquets. Our customers are as diverse as our food. We have multiple outlets on campus and expanding and our staff are key to the success of our thriving Hospitality business.

You will be required to ensure that the day-to-day running of the catering operation is smooth and that customers are provided with a high standard of service at all times. Your responsibilities will include taking customer orders, serving food and drink, working on the tills, stocking food stations and assisting with cleaning and clearing tables and catering areas.

Delivering excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we do and you should have experience of this in a customer focused environment. Previous experience of working in the Hospitality industry would be an advantage but all candidates will be considered. You should be a good team worker and be able to be calm and professional in high pressure situations, as it can be extremely busy during peak times.

We consider ourselves part of one big team across all of the outlets and there may be opportunities to work in different outlets to gain further experience. If you want to develop into a supervisory position, we'll do everything we can to help you achieve this. We believe in celebrating success and provide you with the training and support to reach your full potential. Learn more about our outlets at the University of Bath.
