Working as a part of the Student Immigration Service, you will provide immigration advice and administration that will enable students subject to immigration controls to study at the University and continue to ensure that the University maintains its Tier 4 grade A sponsor status.   

You will be working closely with Student Immigration Advisers who specialise in casework and compliance, finding ways to ensure casework and compliance processes are aligned. You will have an understanding of Home Office immigration requirements, with detailed knowledge of Tier 4 guidance and the compliance agenda.  

You will be able to demonstrate your experience of using and developing administrative systems which support advice delivery and compliance related tasks. Ideally you will have experience of advising international students in a Higher Education environment.

You will need excellent people skills as well as accurate IT and data analysis skills, be an effective administrator and be able to manage your time and remain calm under pressure.

Working alongside a team of specialist advisers, you will be able to work collaboratively to ensure consistent service delivery to international students.

This is a full time (36.5 hour), fixed term post working Monday to Friday.
