The University of Bath is looking to recruit a Retail Assistant to work in our Fresh Grocery Store on a full-time, term time only basis. Someone who takes real pride in their performance ensuring every customer receives a friendly, professional and high quality service. Is this you?

Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to over-come work related challenges in a positive manner within a fast paced retail environment where no 2 days are the same.

Maintaining a customer focused approach at all times, you will ensure products and displays are merchandised at their best ensuring strong product availability. You will have a variety of duties including serving on checkouts, working in our bakery and assisting customers using our self-checkouts. You will assist with store objectives ensuring procedures are adhered to at all times.

This position is being offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) term time only basis across 33 weeks per annum. Working hours will be agreed with the Store Manager on a rota'd basis, with the vast majority of shifts being Monday-Friday, being required to work the occasional weekend day to support stocktakes/open day events, etc. This role is offered on a 5 over 7 basis in which you may be expected to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
