We are seeking to appoint a Designer on a part time (21.90 hour) basis in the Office for the Arts.

Based around an ethos bringing together Art, Research and Adventure, year-round programmes at The Edge and Andrew Brownsword Gallery are co-ordinated by the University of Bath’s Office for the Arts including exhibitions, performing arts presentations, talks, arts classes, family and community events. We are seeking a creative designer to join our team.

Working to the instruction of the Programme and Exhibitions Manager, you will devise and produce programme, event and exhibition identities, creating visual imagery as required, producing vinyl, interpretation and variety of visual content, linked to the wider brand development of The Edge and Andrew Brownsword Gallery brand. You will also work with Communications team to design and produce promotional material for the full range of activities, including the production of print, e-newsletters, posters, images, digital screens, advertisements and flyers for exhibitions, events, classes and to help promote space use for income generation.

The Office for the Arts organises programmes for both public and campus engagement, as well as supporting the extra-curricular interests of Bath students engaged in the performing and visual arts. It is an important time for The Edge and Andrew Brownsword Gallery as we develop an arts and science brand.

This is a permanent role and hours per week may vary depending on the needs of the operation. For more information please email Priscila Buschinelli (p.buschinelli@bath.ac.uk).

All applications must be submitted via the University of Bath website.
