We are looking for a talented and versatile Front-end Developer with a data-driven approach to creating amazing digital user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and beautiful websites, possess good technical skills, and be able to translate digital designs into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.

You'll make complicated things feel simple, and create accessible interactions that everyone can use, on any device.

From understanding user journeys and interpreting digital designs, to prototyping in HTML and CSS, to coding delightful interactions in JavaScript, you’ll be involved in the whole process.

We are a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers and writers. We design and build user-focused platforms to improve service delivery at the University of Bath.

Our team:

  • uses agile techniques to help us ship code regularly, and make sure we have tests to cover it
  • runs regular sessions with real users to identify product improvements
  • sets, monitors and improves performance measures
  • uses best practice to try and make all development as easy, high-quality and enjoyable as possible
  • writes and maintains a dozen software products across multiple programming languages

We hold ourselves to high standards and use our Digital Principles to inform and deliver great digital services.

We work in an open-plan office on the University of Bath campus.
