The University of Bath’s Office for the Arts manages The Edge and Andrew Brownsword Gallery and organises programmes for both public and campus engagement. We are seeking an experienced and assured individual to co-ordinate the sale and subsequent use of rooms at The Edge, situated on the University of Bath campus.

Working with senior management and operations colleagues, the Sales and Business Engagement Officer will actively sell space and engage with new business opportunities. Generating revenue and achieving income targets for The Edge, the officer will communicate with prospective and existing clients and University colleagues across a variety of communication channels and in person. 

You will join at an exciting time for The Edge and Andrew Brownsword Gallery as we develop a brand centred around creativity and discovery for public engagement purposes, whilst maintaining a supportive ecosystem for campus arts users. Income generation is vital in support of wider business aims, which this new role will be instrumental in delivering. The role also acts to deliver excellent service in the area of room use and review accompanying processes, with occasional hosting and co-ordinating of related events when necessary.

This is a part-time role, working 21.9 hours per week (0.6 fte).
