We are seeking an ambitious and authentic Director of Operations to lead our large professional services team. Joining the School at an exciting time as we move into our new £72 million home you will play a key role in developing our strategic plan for the next five years. As we scale the size of our organisation, you will ensure that we have the culture, processes, and structure in place to build sustainable success.

About the role:

As part of our executive leadership team, you will evolve our professional services delivery model to increase our commercial and academic success. Within a complex market and external regulatory environment, you will play a key role in our goal of becoming a global leader. Leading a diverse range of departments, collaborating across the University you will work to push forward the ambitions of the School of Management. 

About you:

As a results-oriented and commercially astute individual you'll have led operations, preferably within a large professional or financial services organisation. You will also have:

  • Had success leading an enterprise-wide change programme, with experience of Lean processing initiatives or equivalent
  • Collaborated with a diverse stakeholder group to review and implement a new organisational design.
  • A strong sense of how digital can play a role in a successful business operating model.
  • An understanding of future challenges for HEIs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing and branding strategies.
