We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to join our School of Management Research Team.

The School of Management has recently moved into its stunning new building, and we have an exciting calendar of research events planned, including an upcoming international conference for 2,500 delegates from across the world. We need someone who is able to manage this portfolio of events and deliver highly professional events which will help to develop our international reputation.

Using your events management experience and skills you will take control of all key aspects of these events, including;

  • generating ideas for events to showcase School of Management research
  • liaising with internationally renowned speakers to secure their participation
  • planning keynote speeches, parallel sessions, panel discussions
  • planning gala dinners, social trips and more
  • managing the event webpages
  • supporting the research marketing manager and marketing team to promote the events

This is a part-time position working 21.9 hours per week on an 18 month fixed term basis. Assuming a similar volume of events coming in, this role is likely to be made permanent.
