The Strategy and Organisation Division of the School of Management, University of Bath, is seeking to appoint three Lecturers/Senior Lecturers (Assistant/Associate Professors) to join its vibrant and collegial academic community.

We welcome applicants in any area of the Division’s centres of excellence, that is, Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Organisation Studies, and Human Resource Management. We seek people who are equally passionate about teaching and research, and who desire to influence policy and practice. You will play a full role in the thriving research culture of the S&O Division. We are keen to build upon our track record in attracting external research income, our demonstrable impacts on policy and practice, and our publications in leading journals.  You should be interested in participating in a lively and friendly academic culture.  You will contribute to our range of successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, teaching high-achieving and motivated students. You will attract outstanding doctoral students.

You will be joining a high-achieving but supportive team of colleagues who publish in a wide range of leading journals, including Organization Studies, Human Relations, Research Policy, Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Science, Journal of Vocational Behaviour, Human Resource Management Journal, etc. Colleagues are active contributors to the academic community: editing journals, taking up leadership positions in professional bodies, organising workshops and conferences. Supporting and mentoring new and/or rising academics is a top priority of the Division.

The School of Management is ranked within the UK’s top ten business schools, holds TEF Gold status for its teaching, and is actively working towards building on its award of the Athena Swan bronze status for its diversity strategy. We are moving to a multi-million pound new building in early 2022. The University of Bath is situated on a modern campus surrounded by attractive countryside overlooking the centre of Bath, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage City, famous for its Georgian architecture and its annual literature and music festivals. It is a safe and friendly campus with strong student services and excellent sports facilities. Bath is located 100 miles west of London and is easily accessible by air, road and rail.

Informal enquiries may be made to Professor Nancy Harding (Head of Division - Strategy and Organisation) (hnh25@bath.ac.uk) or to Professor Yasin Rofcanin (yr308@bath.ac.uk).
