Westwood Nursery at the University of Bath are seeking to appoint a dedicated, hard-working and creative Nursery Assistant to join our team full time (36.5 hours per week) on a permanent basis commencing July 2022.

Graded Outstanding by Ofsted, Westwood Nursery provides 48 places for children aged 6 months to 5 years. We aim to provide accessible, high-quality childcare for children of students, staff and the local community. We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children learn and develop to their full potential and we welcome everyone by supporting individual needs, abilities and interests.

Our ideal candidate should be a good team player with sound communication and organisation skills. You should have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum with the ability to support the development of our children. Good oral and written skills are essential. Relevant qualifications in childcare and Education in accordance with Ofsted requirements would be an advantage.

The Nursery opening times are between 08.30 am - 17.45 pm, Monday - Friday. An enhanced Disclosure Baring Service (DBS) clearance will be required for this post.
