Westwood Nursery at the University of Bath are seeking to appoint a dedicated, hard working and creative Nursery Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part time basis working 29.2 hours per week, (FTE 0.8). 

About us:

Graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, Westwood Nursery provides 48 places for children aged 6 months to 5 years. We aim to provide accessible, high-quality childcare for children of students, staff and the local community. We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children learn and develop to their full potential and welcome everyone by supporting individual needs, abilities and interests.

The Nursery opening times are between 08.30 am - 17.45 pm, Monday - Friday.

About you:

You should be a good team player with sound communication and organisation skills. You should have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum with the ability to support the development of our children. Good oral and written skills are essential.

Relevant childcare qualifications in accordance with Ofsted an advantage but not essential.

An enhanced Disclosure Baring Service (DBS) clearance will be required for this post.
