This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in Service Support and IT relationship management to join the University of Bath's  Computing Services Department to focus on support for the University’s Department of Estates.

Your role will be responsible for the relationship with the Estates teams, under the management of the Assistant Director (Management Information Systems) and with guidance from a specific Estates Systems Operations Group to assist with appropriate technical and business prioritisation. You will also be responsible for appropriate liaison with the technology based teams in Computing Services.

Following appropriate project and service management methods, you will help develop existing and future technical services for Estates. You will provide a suite of customer driven metrics and use management information to inform and drive further service and system improvement.

You will have and maintain an in-depth knowledge of support and relationship management techniques and you will be widely aware of the requirements associated with delivery of Estates services. Your knowledge and skills will be contributing to help implementing the University’s strategies and standards and improving the Estates customer experience.

You will be expected to contribute to discussions about improving methods of working, to follow those methods once agreed and to document and maintain those methods so they become knowledge for staff across Computing Services and Estates.

As part of our ongoing commitment to improve customer experience and continual service improvement, Computing Services are implementing policies and procedures based on the ITIL framework while Estates operate under ISO9001 and are looking to implement ISO14001. Knowledge and experience of working in such frameworks would be advantageous.
