The Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies (PoLis) is looking to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) in European Politics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic Department. PoLIS is a vibrant community providing excellent opportunities for academic teaching and research. Our team produce produce internationally renowned  research in Gender, Conflict and Security, Memory, Populism, Nationalism and Radicalism, and deliver a range of highly successful courses at undergraduate and post-graduate levels with an excellent reputation for our supportive learning environment.

You will contribute to our Politics and International Relations and Modern Languages and European Studies programmes, specifically, to modules on Policy and Policy-making in the EU, Europe in Global Politics, and European integration. You will be committed to high quality teaching and to creating a positive learning environment for students. As part of the role you will be an active participant in all aspects of the life of the Department, and benefit from training and development opportunities.

This is a two year fixed-term position (0.9FTE) arising from an external grant.
