The Department of Psychology in the University of Bath is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching Focus). The appointee will work with the D.Clin.Psych Programme based in the University of Bath, providing general support and teaching related to the programme in general and Systemic Family Therapy in particular. The appointee will also be responsibly for coordinating and running the Foundation and Intermediate courses for the Continued Professional Development students.

You should be a qualified systemic psychotherapist, with research, teaching and team working experience. This is a part-time post working 21.9 hours per week with flexible working possible.

The Department has an established tradition of excellence in research and teaching, and for these posts we are seeking applicants with demonstrable teaching ability and enthusiasm. The successful applicant will be joining the Clinical Psychology Doctorate group, which has in a very short time developed a reputation as one of the leading programmes of its kind nationally.

In national rankings, the Department was recently placed 1st in the Guardian, and 2nd in The Complete University Guide, The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide. 

The University of Bath is situated in the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath and is part of the GW4 group of leading Universities (with Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter). Bath is also a member of the ERSC-funded SWDTC. Bath is 15 minutes from Bristol by train and 90 minutes from London and Oxford.
