Do you want to work for an internationally recognised University? Do you want to empower others, improving work life and productivity by imparting knowledge of Office 365 tools and automation?

In these unprecedented times the University of Bath has seen a 500% growth in Microsoft Teams being adopted by all our staff and we are now looking for a self-motivated, pro-active and highly experienced Office 365 Adoption Specialist to join our Digital, Data and Technology group.

A natural leader with a passion for always improving and innovation the successful candidate will lead the adoption, promotion, training and effective use of Office 365 (O365) tools such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook and OneDrive, across the University. This truly is a key role supporting technological advancement and new ways of working.

As a University we rely on remote tools more than ever, a consistent, high quality online experience for staff and students is pivotal. New and emerging technologies are constantly evolving and fortunately, last year we deployed the Office 365 suite to support remote working and learning. We are moving swiftly to deliver a comprehensive training programme so that all staff are fully operational, equipped with the knowledge and skills required in an ever evolving digital landscape.

With an always learning mindset you will apply adoption expertise to resolve complex problems, generate innovative ideas, drive service improvements and support/develop the relevant strategic, tactical or operational needs.

This is a fixed term, full time role for 6 months. Remote working will be a significant part of this role.

We value, promote and celebrate inclusion, challenging discrimination and putting equality, diversity and belonging at the heart of everything we do. We aim to be an inclusive university, where difference is celebrated, respected and encouraged. We truly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds will lead to a better environment for our employees and students, so we encourage applications from all genders, backgrounds, and communities, particularly from under-represented groups such as Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and disabled people, and value the positive impact that will have on our teams.

We have made a positive commitment towards gender equality and intersectionality receiving a Bronze Athena SWAN award, and we are actively working towards a Silver award. We are a family-friendly University, with an increasingly agile workforce, we are open to flexible working arrangements. We’re also proud to be a disability confident employer and are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments you may require.
