The University of Bath is a Guardian top ten University and the provision of a professional and responsive facilities management service as a part of the Estates function is a crucial element of the student experience. 

The Department of Estates is a large, diverse and busy department covering the development, maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and estate.

The role is varied and interesting and we would like to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our small team on a full time basis.  

You will need to be well organised, with a strong administrative background and experience of working as part of a team in a busy office environment. You should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, with a common sense approach to problem solving. You will need initiative and good judgement. The ability to constantly re-prioritise work load in a reactive environment is a must.

A high proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word and Excel is required.  Training will be given in use of University specific software (Archibus, Agresso) which are requisite for the post.

Core hours are between 8.00am and 5.20pm and scheduled amongst the team, so flexibility is important.
