We are seeking two enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated Institute Programme Coordinators to join the Bath Institute for Mathematical Innovation (IMI) and support our work across the University delivering a wide range of activities.

Established in 2015, IMI is a University Research Institute that operates University-wide, stimulating new research collaborations involving the mathematical sciences, supporting new collaborations with external partners, and enhancing the profile of our fundamental research.

The successful applicants will join a dedicated Institute staff team and will have responsibility for the development, delivery and operation of IMI's programmes, including those for undergraduate research internships, internal secondments, international visitors, workshop and conference support, and working with external organisations.

The role will require the development of strong working relationships with a wide range of academic and professional staff across the University and with external partners, as well as support for committees responsible for overseeing the strategy and operations of the Institute.

Both roles are part time (21.5 hours per week) and fixed term, one for up to 3 years, and the other for up to 10 months or the early return of the post holder (maternity cover).

Applications for the 10 month post from staff wishing to undertake this as a secondment (subject to approval from the line manager) are welcome.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Prof Jonathan Dawes, Director of Bath IMI, at J.H.P.Dawes@bath.ac.uk.
