We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to co-ordinate and actively develop the Academic Representatives system and effective student representation at a departmental level to ensure an effective student voice.

The Academic Representation Co-ordinator will be responsible as part of the Representation team for co-ordinating and developing the Academic Representatives system at all stages from the recruitment of student Academic Representatives via online elections, providing training and development activities, supporting the representatives through briefings and identification of key trends, to developing reward and recognition.

We are looking for someone with outstanding organisation skills, who can demonstrate excellent team working skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.  Strong communication skills using a variety of communication methods to a range of audiences will be needed to succeed in this role.  A good working knowledge of the Higher Education sector and previous experience of working with volunteers are essential and experience of working in a Students’ Union would be particularly desirable.

This post is based within the Students’ Union Representation team and is a full time, permanent post.  The University of Bath Students’ Union has been awarded a SUEI (Students’ Union Evaluation Initiative) Gold award, Investing in Volunteers award and is an Investor in People.
