We are seeking a motivated, engaging receptionist who will be responsible for running the SU information Point. The SU encourages a positive supportive environment and this role will be crucial in ensuring students and visitors get the best possible experience when seeking information or advice.

We are looking for someone with outstanding communications skills, who can demonstrate excellent customer service and with strong ICT skills. The role will require a lot of independent working as well as working as part of the Students’ Union marketing team. The role will be busy and varied and will require someone with excellent organisational skills and patience.

The role includes liaising with students and visitors for general information, supporting a team of student staff, fulfilling orders, managing a travel booking system and general office duties.

The post is based within the Students’ Union and is a part-time job for 21.9 hours per week (0.6 FTE), the working pattern will be:
Monday: 10:00 - 14:45
Tuesday: 10:00 - 14:15
Wednesday: 10:00 - 14:15
Thursday: 10:00 - 14:15
Friday: 10:00 - 14:15
