The role

Based in the department of Estates the post holder will provide pro-active executive support to the Director of Estates and, where necessary, other members of the Estates senior management team in developing, promoting and monitoring strategic initiatives in the department of Estates with a particular focus on business efficiency and project management. 

The post involves liaison, co-ordination, research and analysis; information and communication management; report and business case writing; preparation of briefing materials; co-ordination with other departments in the university and external contractors and some independent project management.

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic team on projects which make a difference such as the new School of Management and the IAAPS projects at Bristol and Bath Science Park.

The ideal candidate will have

  • A degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a buildings or project management related field
  • Experience of report writing or the preparation of formal policy proposals
  • Numerical and textual analysis skills
  • Project management skills
