Do you have a passion for exploring new and emerging technologies and practices within research computing and want to share your talent with a vibrant community?

The Advancing Research Computing (ARC) team is embarking on an exciting project to support prominent research for the cloud. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented developer who has experience of crafting and delivering new and novel solutions, with a focus on performance and optimisation, for research computing solutions for the cloud. They will work closely with colleagues across the University and apply in-depth expertise to translate their requirements into a viable, sustainable and compliant cloud-based solutions, generate innovative ideas and to enhance the delivery of digital research.

The successful candidate will have an innovative and agile approach, be an excellent communicator, have a strong team work ethic, and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment. They will contribute to developing knowledge and skills of an active and growing community through providing technical training, support and promoting the adoption of best practices.
