This is an opportunity to be part of a world class team who are delivering an exciting new 3 year programme supporting scale-up companies to accelerate their growth through innovation, investment and partnership delivering economic impact into the UK economy.

This fixed term contract until March 2021 will be based at the University of Bath’s Innovation Centre with travel across Southern England to deliver an extensive programme of investment events, co-ordinating member companies as they undergo investor readiness reviews, and in preparing their investment campaigns. The post holder will also help build and maintain our investment network & platform.

Working as part of a team of programmes & events staff, along with the Scale-up Sector and Investment manager, as well as a wider team at each of the individual Universities within the SETsquared Partnership.  A highly organised self-starter with energy and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality work and attention to detail. With a wide stakeholder group and geography, this is a complex and challenging but stimulating and rewarding environment to work within. A proven track record of event/campaign delivery is essential and if this was within a technology/investment environment this would be desirable.

Whether it’s an entrepreneur with an idea or a very early stage, high-tech start-up company – the mission is to help turn an innovative spark into a thriving, commercial business.
