We have a unique opportunity for a Strategic Business Analyst to join Computing Services and play a key role in improving processes at the University of Bath. As the department is going through a highly innovative transformation period this is a real hands-on opportunity to impact change and deliver meaningful solutions and improve ways of working. You won't just analyse the data – you'll own your work from ideation to execution and have an immediate and profound impact.

The successful candidate will be able to provide high-quality analysis and reporting to inform strategic development and process improvement. Consolidation will be a key part of the role with an ability to elicit, analyse, prioritise and document business requirements and iteratively track them throughout.

A brilliant communicator and highly collaborative, we are looking for someone who can act as a conduit between stakeholders, customers and developers to subject matter experts, architects and more.

The post holder will have core responsibility for the following key areas

  • Process improvement, as a precursor to Business Analysis
  • Requirements and Business Analysis, gaining agreement from stakeholders and facilitating the prioritisation of the requirements
  • Strategic Business Analysis for strategic initiatives such as CRM
  • Project support and guidance
  • Continuous Service Improvement and technical expertise/support
