Career

I joined the careers service in 2019 after having had a variety of jobs in different sectors. These include but are not limited to: Sales, hospitality, charity, higher education, and freelance mental health work.

I enjoy being an applications adviser because I can use my love of writing to help people. When I see clients, they’re usually at a point where they’re opening themselves up, taking risks, and seeking big new opportunities. With this in mind, I listen and offer personalised advice to support them as best I can. I find that my interest in inclusivity, particularly with autism, really helps with this.

When I’m not working, I am gaming, drinking coffee, and de-stressing with regular runs around the park.

Education

I have a BSc in Psychology from Aston University and an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Bath and am currently undertaking a PhD in Psychology.
