Stephen Rangecroft Director of External Engagement
Stephen is responsible for curating and developing external partnerships to support the University’s Enterprise activities across both research and teaching.
Role
Stephen’s role is to identify and develop ways in which large and small organisations can build sustainable enterprise partnerships with the University. The goal is to create mutually beneficial relationships which add value to the University’s research output, impact and student experience.
The University’s enterprise activities are local, regional and national in scope. These provide organisations with a range of opportunities designed to help them collaborate with the University’s research and teaching innovations.
Career
An accomplished marketing and external relations professional, Stephen has extensive experience in the private and public sectors. Originally working in magazine and book publishing, Stephen moved into academia when he took the post of Marketing Director at London Business School. He has spent the last 15 years working for the University of Bath and was previously the Director of Marketing and External Relations for the School of Management.
Education
Stephen studied History at Goldsmiths College as an undergraduate and later returned to the University of London to complete an MBA from UCL. In between he completed a Postgraduate Diploma from the Institute of Direct Marketing and a Strategic Marketing Programme at Columbia Business School in New York.
