Role
Véronique has been working in the education sector in France and in England for nearly 30 years. She mentors teachers so that they can skilfully fulfil their role while ensuring that they achieve a good work-life balance. She is currently undertaking the ILM Level 5 coaching qualification.

Career
As a Course Leader of the Skills Centre’s Foreign Languages department, Véronique’s responsibilities include: line management of a large team of teaching fellows, deputising for the Head of Department, writing programs of studies for language courses, supervising exams and procedures, organising workshops for Skills Centre staff (employability, online provision etc.). Véronique is an experienced teacher and manager who can communicate with a wide variety of people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Véronique has an empathetic style of coaching and is nurturing in her approach. She uses careful questioning combined with a genuine style of listening to ascertain the areas that matter to the coachee. She is able to develop the coachees thinking through harnessing her own curiosity, informing her questioning and use of tools to explore the situation further.

- ILM Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring
