Lizzie is new to coaching at the University but has been coaching through her external coaching networks. Lizzie has completed her ILM Level 5 coaching qualification and is a member of the International Coaching Federation and the Association for Coaching.

Career
Lizzie has two roles at the University - she is the HR Business Partner for the Faculty of Engineering & Design and the People Lead for IAAPS. As an HR Business Partner, Lizzie’s role is to partner with stakeholders to develop people initiatives to enable the delivery of the University’s strategy; she undertakes the roles of facilitator, advisor, coach, or critical friend. Her role in IAAPS involves the design and delivery of innovative people solutions to ensure IAAPS can attract, recruit and retain exceptional talent, and to support the team to develop and implement new ways of working and a culture of high performance.
Lizzie joined the University’s HR team in 2018, having worked previously in people-focussed roles across a range of industry sectors spanning health care, consultancy, and professional services.
Lizzie is passionate about supporting individuals and teams to realise and reach their potential; she is a strong advocate for enabling people to recognise that they have an innate ability to define their goals and the path to achieve their desired results.
In her role, Lizzie is committed to using her coaching knowledge and skills to collaborate with people leaders to develop the skills, behaviours, and resources to build a culture and environment where people are given the opportunity to thrive.
