Jessica Carwardine International Partnerships Officer

Jessica supports the University's internationalisation ambitions by aiding the development and implementation of collaborative partnerships and networks.

Role

Jessica provides expertise and support to the International Partnerships Team in the development and management of international partnerships, networks and alliances.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the International Partnerships Manager in the delivery, logistics and documentation of all partnerships activity.

  • Management and coordination of all MoU and MoA agreements including due diligence and maintaining university systems pertaining to new and existing partnership business.

  • Management and organisation of incoming and outgoing international visits, delegations and other key events led by the International Relations Office including the Global Chair Scheme.

  • Coordination of Bath's engagement with the UK Singapore Alliance for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

  • Secretariat for the Internationalisation Board.

Career

Jessica has built over ten years experience in the international education sector. After being inspired by her year abroad at the University of Alabama during her undergraduate degree, Jessica started her career teaching at an international school in Hong Kong before moving back to the UK to work in a business and partnership development capacity for an international summer school and then a Chinese education consultancy in London. Jessica joined the university in 2019 as a Placements Officer assisting and supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students to secure professional placements as well as managing the study abroad programme for Economics students before moving into the International Relations Office.

Education

Jessica is currently completing a masters degree in International Higher Education Management at the University of Bath and holds a BA in American History and Politics from the University of Leicester. Jessica is also a qualified Prince2 Project Management Practitioner and qualified CELTA teacher.
