Bruce Eley International Rankings Project Officer
Bruce is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the University’s institutional submissions to several international rankings.
Role
Bruce is responsible for overseeing and coordinating elements of the University’s institutional submissions to several international rankings. He maintains oversight of campaign and project plans, aiming to raise the international recognition and reputation of the University.
The collective priorities for the International Relations Office are:
- identifying our external and internal relationships to aid our collaborative working in order to grow our international reputation
- providing excellent customer service - student experience being at the heart of what we do
- showcasing the outputs of the International Relations Office
Career
Before joining the International Relations Team, Bruce was co-founder of a social enterprise using behavioural science to improve physical, mental and social wellbeing. Working with UCL, Kings College, Public Health England, Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport, Government ministers, local authorities and supporting 10 national charities. Also working with PwC, NatWest, John Lewis, Coop and other corporates to improve their ranking in the Times Top 100 Companies to work for. Prior to cofounding the social enterprise Bruce was an Aeronautical Engineer working in the UK and USA, moving onto designing and implementing mobile phone networks around the world before delving into mobile operator analytics platforms using ML/AI to improve customer experience.
Education
Bruce completed his BSc in Aero/Mechanical Engineering at Cranfield.
