Dr Alice Morrey IPR Policy Engagement Manager

Alice oversees the Institute for Policy Research (IPR) Policy Fellowship Programme and supports the development of the Bath Policy Engagement Academy.

Career

Alice Morrey has built a diverse academic career, having previously served as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Policy Research (IPR). In this role, she managed research tasks and oversaw the IPR blog and social media. She completed an Impact & Knowledge Exchange Fellowship at the University of Bath in 2023, gaining skills in research impact and stakeholder engagement. Notable achievements include assisting with the ESRC UK-Korea Yonsei Grant, which culminated in a visit to Yonsei University, Seoul, in October 2022.

Education

Alice recently completed her PhD at the University of Bristol, focusing on the constitutional crisis of the English Benedictines between 1880 and 1900. She also holds an MA in History from Bristol and earned a BA in English with History from Bath Spa University. Her academic expertise lies in government and politics, international relations, and the interplay between religion and global affairs.
