Role
Debra joined the Workforce Development Team in July 2024 as a Learning and Organisational Development manager, where her role involves the ongoing development and delivery of the Management Curriculum and other associated leadership and management projects across the University.
Debra believes that coaching can provide people with valuable space to think, presenting an opportunity to gain clarity on issues which may feel tangled or unclear. She uses a range of different tools within her coaching sessions, working with clients to identify what will support them to achieve their best results.
Having experienced the transformational nature of personal development coaching herself, this is something she believes can make a huge difference to personal confidence and job satisfaction.

Career
Debra’s journey spans over two decades in public sector leadership development. She’s coached staff across diverse roles and seniority levels. Her legacy includes designing and leading leadership programs, especially for aspiring managers and women.
In 2022, Debra earned her Career Coaching Service Licence, seamlessly integrating this methodology into her coaching toolkit. She’s a lifelong learner, actively participating in CPD activities across various platforms to enhance her coaching practices.
