Lucy Chapman Projects Officer (Corporate Engagement)

Lucy works on projects for the Corporate Engagement Team.

Role

Lucy is responsible for managing department projects including the website, marketing and branding, finances, events and the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM system OSCAR, used to manage the University's corporate relationships.

She manages the planning and coordination of networking and industry-facing events which often cross over with other departments. Notable events in 2019 include the first of the Healthy Ageing Network series, Health and Wellbeing in Later Life and managing the corporate boxes at the BUCS Super Rugby Anniversary Match.

Often working with staff across the University, Lucy has helped develop and actively maintains the Corporate Engagement Network.

Lucy accepts and responds to enquiries made by those wishing to collaborate with the University.

Career

Previous to joining the University of Bath, Lucy worked at Massey University where she supported the HOD, academics and PhD students in the School of Engineering & Advanced Technology. She also spent a few years at NSIA, a private-training establishment in Auckland where she worked in the Student Services team. Whilst she was involved in all stages of the student journey (from recruitment through to graduation), her main role was to assist international students by applying for their student visas to Immigration New Zealand on their behalf.

Education

Lucy holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. As part of CPD in her role at NSIA she also completed 4 courses from the Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice.
