Dr Anne Priest Research Development Manager
Anne supports academics in their research ambitions through expert funding advice, strategic planning and developing high-quality funding proposals.
Anne is the Research Development Manager for global research and environmental science in Research and Innovation Services (RIS) and the lead contact for Chemistry, Mathematical Sciences and Psychology. Her work includes identifying opportunities and developing high-quality research proposals that involve Official Development Assistance (ODA) compliant research. She supports applications relevant to:
- Global Challenges Research Fund
- Department for International Development
- Newton Fund
- Leverhulme Trust
- Natural Environment Research Council (NERC)
- Wellcome Trust (Humanities and Social Sciences)
As part of the Research Development team, Anne facilitates workshops and provides support for improving grant proposal outcomes.
Anne joined the University in 2016. Before this she worked at the Natural Environment Research Council as a Programme Manager.
Anne has a Master's in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia and a PhD in Biology from the University of the Bath.
