Dr Stefano Angioni Senior Cloud Architect
Stefano is a member of the Research Computing Group and is developing cloud solutions for HPC applications.
Stefano is currently developing HPC applications in public cloud.
He is responsible for migrating HPC applications across to public cloud, and expanding the platform across the University.
In the near future, Stefano hopes that he will have the opportunity to create workshops for academics and researchers who want to know more about using public cloud for their research.
Stefano's first position at the University was as a post-doc in mechanical engineering, where he used Balena as a research associate in Computational Fluid Dynamics. He has since moved on to the Digital, Data and Technology group where he continues working on HPC computing.
Stefano began his studies in Italy before moving to the University of Bath to study his PhD in Computational Mechanics.
