Career

I’m a final-year psychology student with a growing passion for educational reform, informed by my own experience and studies on education and inequality. A module that explored different perspectives on these issues really opened my eyes and sparked a desire to pursue a career in education policy or research. Along the way, I realized how important career education is, and that’s what drew me to the role of Student Employability Coach. After benefiting from the University's career services myself, I knew I wanted to help others experience that same support and confidence boost.

Before stepping into this role, I gained lots of experience working with people from all walks of life—whether it was in retail, pharmacy, tutoring, or research. These experiences have really helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to adapt my approach to suit different needs and situations.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me doing something to unwind—whether that’s reading, baking, cooking, or crocheting (although I do tend to leave a few projects half-finished!). I’m also a big fan of exploring new coffee shops and bookstores, where I could spend hours
