Miss Chloe Page Students' Union Education Officer
Will undertake the responsibilities of members of governing bodies as set out in the CUC Guide for Members of Higher Education Governing Bodies in the UK.
Chloe was born in Guernsey, Channel Islands. She gained a scholarship to The Ladies' College, where she was educated and appointed Deputy Head Girl in her final year. She attained a bursary from the Guernsey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants to study a BSc (Hons) in Social Sciences at the University of Bath, from which she has recently graduated. This provided her the opportunity to undertake several summer placements in accounting firms on the island. She is also a voluntary Young Ambassador for the charity Beat.
Throughout her time at the University, Chloe was involved in many areas of student life. At the Students' Union, she held a variety of roles within academic representation. She climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, raising £3,000 for The Children's Society, and undertook an internship in Peru to learn about sustainability. Her experiences as an Academic Representative for her course, a Departmental Respresentative, and a Council/Senate/Students' Union Representative for the student body led her to stand for election as Education Officer. She is delighted to be in the role, and relishes the opportunities and challenges it brings.
In the future, Chloe wishes to use her passion for sustainability and environmentalism to work in social policy.
