Career

Ben Davies was born in Liverpool. He attended John Lennon's old school, Calderstones. He has recently graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Bath. His placement year was spent working with BAE Systems Submarine Solutions where he helped to deliver the UK's Astute class Submarines. He also competed in the 2015 UK Ironman.

Throughout his time at University, he has been actively involved in numerous areas of student life. He held a variety of different roles within Academic Representation, helping voice his cohorts of concerns, sports, coaching various levels of swimming, volunteering and helping welcome new students to the University. His time spent as an Academic Representative and as a Council/Senate Students' Union Representative led him to stand for election as Education Officer. After spending a year within that role he was elected again this time as SU President. He is excited to be in the role and looks forward to the challenge over the coming year.
