Role

Sara has worked at the University for three years as an Undergraduate Admissions Selector in the Student Recruitment and Admissions Department and prior to this for 28 years in Secondary Education.

Sara is now training to be a Coach with The OCM on their apprenticeship scheme. She believes in a holistic approach that focuses on both the practical and emotional aspects of personal development.

Career

Sara blends her experience in educational admissions and outreach with a deep commitment to wellbeing and support. With 28 years of experience in international schools, Sara brings a wealth of knowledge about diverse educational systems and cultures. She has been dedicated to the pastoral care of others through many different roles including Head of Sixth Form, a Tutor, Teacher and Safeguarding Deputy.

Her involvement in the Wellbeing Champions network shows her dedication to fostering positive mental health and wellbeing in her work community.

Being a listening Samaritan shows her capacity for emotional support and dedication to helping people through difficult times, offering to listen and empathise when others need it most.
