Community of Practice
This project brings together stakeholders interested in policy, practice and research related to death, dying and bereavement in the South West of England.
The Community of Practice brings together practitioners, stakeholders, policymakers, academics, and other interested parties to build a community of like-minded individuals to work on priority areas of policy, practice and research related to death, dying and bereavement in the South West of England.
Our aim is to facilitate and foster a community of people and organisations that places the South West as the UK’s hub of expertise and best practice in death, dying and bereavement.
- Consolidate existing networks of interest in the South West
- Identify emergent areas of interest, partnerships and networks in the South West
- Ascertain key priority areas for policy, practice and research that can position the South West as the hub of expertise in death, dying and bereavement in the UK (and beyond)
- Create achievable objectives for further work
This project is led by Dr John Troyer.
