Personal Tutors
Find out more about personal tutoring.
Personal tutors are members of academic staff who provide pastoral support and guidance on your academic progression. They are a key personalised point of contact between you and the University. You will be assigned a personal tutor during Induction and will typically be one of a group of 4 to 5 tutees.
You will meet your tutor as a group during Welcome week and then usually three times a semester thereafter. In addition to group tutorials, you will have an opportunity to meet with your personal tutor individually once a semester, for example, following end-of-semester assessment feedback.
